Please read carefully the following terms and conditions, as they set out our respective rights and obligations. By using SequaTours services, you agree with the following terms and conditions.
IMPORTANT "SéquaTours" drivers are local certified professionals, knowledgeable and experienced, and our boats are fitted with the very latest safety equipment and fully licensed. Being local, our staff knows the lagoons as well as you know your backyard, so you can trust them to get you and your family a pleasant and safe tour.
HEALTH & SAFETY Safety on Tour Safety of the vessel, its crew and its passengers is top priority for SequaTours! SéquaTours will not be held responsible for any personal injuries, equipment loss or damage sustained whilst engaged in any activities, including boarding and disembarking the vessel. Please observe all the staff's indications, with no exceptions. The company, directors and staff accept no responsibility or liability for any loss, accident or injury to persons or property. SéquaTours reserves the right to refuse service to those who are believed to be affected by alcohol or drugs and no refund will be provided in such cases. Only small bags are permitted on board the vessels; bags or luggage cannot be stored on the premises. Personal floatation devices (PFDs) are for emergency use only and are not to be tampered with. Please no standing on the seats, sitting on the railings or running on board on any SéquaTours vessel. Please dispose of trash in appropriate receptacles. Do not throw trash of any kind overboard.
HEALTH & PHYSICAL Passengers with any back, neck, shoulder or heart conditions, or those who are pregnant or who have injuries/conditions that may cause a risk to their health are not permitted to ride on the boat, and if so, do so at their own risk. All trips and rides are suitable for persons with normal health and fitness. SéquaTours reserves the right to suspend a participant from an activity if he/she has no physical condition to carry it out or in case of disrespect for the safety recommendations.
USE OF VESSELS AND/OR EQUIPMENT SéquaTours reserves the right to change the vessels or equipment to carry out the activity, due to system failures or adverse weather conditions. The price will not change.
OTHER QUESTIONS Bookings A minimum of 2 passengers are required for the tours to be able to proceed. Bookings can be made by phone (00351) 963 106 248 or email until 48h before the activity, or directly in one of our stands (Tavira and Cabanas). The booking is subject to availability and weather conditions. SéquaTours reserves the right to request a booking fee in the amount of 25% of the price, payable at time of booking. Cancellations and No Shows SéquaTours reserves the right to cancel the activity by reasons which fall outside the responsibility of the company. We cannot be held responsible for cancellations due to the following reasons: natural disasters, climate conditions, system failures or any other circumstances beyond the company's control and also whenever the safety and integrity of participants, equipment and/or goods is at risk. The cancellation of an activity by the participant may be done by email or by phone up until 48 hours before. Once the activity has started with the agreement of the participants, and the safety and integrity of participants, equipment and/or goods is not at risk, in the event of a request from the participant(s) to stop or interrupt it due to wind, temperature, rainfall, waves or other factors beyond the company's control, no refund, indemnity or compensation will apply. In the event of no show, the full amount charged is non-refundable. Meeting Point and Departure Time The meeting point and departure time are indicated on the voucher, on the booking confirmation document, or can be confirmed at our stands. Delay of the participants may imply an exclusion from the activity. To prevent it from happening please be at the designated meeting point 5 mn prior departure time. Departure time is subject to changes due to weather conditions, system failures or any other circumstances beyond the company's control. SéquaTours reserves the right to suspend a participant from an activity if he/she has no physical condition to carry it out or in case of disrespect for the safety recommendations. Itineraries and brochure information The routes and exact time on certain interest points are indicative. The duration and itinerary of activities are subject to change without previous notice depending on weather and tide. Behaviour SéquaTours promotes ecotourism activities with natural, cultural and environmental interest. We expect the utmost respect of the natural areas and local lifestyles of the places we visit by the participants. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel an activity if we find that the client behaviour is in any way disrespectful or inconvenient. Use of images Passengers may be filmed/photographed during the tour. SéquaTours reserves the right to reproduce such film/photos for any purpose whatsoever without notification, compensation or payment. Omissions and other questions In case you have other questions you should discuss them with SéquaTours and those are subject to the terms of Portuguese law.
CONSUMER INFORMATION By using SequaTours services, you agree with the above terms and conditions. In the rare event of litigation, the consumer can resort to an alternative third party entity for resolution, like the: Centro de Informação, Mediação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo do Algarve (www.consumoalgarve.pt). At Livro de Reclamações Electrónico (www.livroreclamacoes.pt) you can submit a complaint and / or request practical information about your consumer rights.
